About the job
As an intelligence officer, you will gather, process, analyze, and share information that supports both operational and tactical activities. You will conduct actor and network analyses, identify new methods and phenomena, and contribute to the Swedish Tax Agency's internal and external analysis. The role involves extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, both nationally and internationally.
The work is qualified and requires a very high level of security and confidentiality awareness. You will alternate between routine and more advanced tasks and are expected to actively contribute to a developing work environment and good collaborations.
In this position, you will continuously develop both broad and deep competencies. As the world changes rapidly, you need to thrive in an organization that is constantly evolving. During the introduction, you will receive basic training divided into several blocks that are interspersed with practical elements.
You have flexible working hours, and it is essential for us that you maintain a balance between work and leisure. The placement is in Sundbyberg.
About you

In this job, you should:
- have good communication skills and be able to express yourself clearly and articulately in both spoken and written form, in Swedish and English
- have good analytical skills, see causal relationships, and draw conclusions effectively
- be driven and proactive in achieving results and set goals
- have a good ability to work independently and take personal responsibility
- have a good ability to collaborate with others and contribute to the development of the workgroup
- have high integrity and be stable as a person.
You should also have:
- a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in a relevant field for the position, or several years of relevant work experience in a qualified role within a relevant area
- current and relevant work experience from intelligence operations, preferably with a focus on economic crime, or current and relevant work experience in qualified investigative work.
It is desirable that you have:
- current and relevant work experience in crime fighting
- current and relevant work experience in agency collaboration
- current and relevant work experience in project management
- current and relevant work experience in data collection and processing from the internet
- current work experience in processing or analyzing in system environments such as i2 or Palantir.
- current and relevant experience in handling large volumes of information and working in databases.
Good to know
The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with background checks according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
Due to the nature of the tasks, the position offers the possibility of limited remote work.
